The communication objective
Keep the overall silhouette recognizable while separating the layers enough to explain construction without turning the experience into a technical cutaway.
Interaction: Scroll-led reveal with bounded drag inspection.
Visible evidence used
- Over-ear silhouette and oval cushion
- Yoke-to-cup relationship
- Outer grille and inner driver layers
- Dark material palette with controlled highlights
The study stays within visible, product-level evidence. It does not assert hidden construction, measured dimensions, material certification, or engineering behavior.
The three story acts
- Assembled form. The complete headphone establishes proportion and material hierarchy before any parts move.
- Acoustic reveal. Cushion, grille, and driver separate on a controlled axis so the internal relationship remains readable.
- Inspection. Bounded drag input lets the visitor check depth and layering without losing the directed composition.
Delivery and limitations
The concept uses the same public delivery shape as a MotionShelf project: a versioned hosted scene, a bounded interaction contract, responsive framing, and a fallback path. A commissioned build also includes private fit review, one consolidated revision, and a standalone package.
This self-initiated study uses approximate procedural visualization to explore one product-story pattern. It is not an exact model of a commercial product. Read the service scope or return to all concept studies.
